Story of the week
You do not dig a well, when you are thirsty, you need to do that well before you are thirsty.
And we can learn that from Ms Rakhi Gibrani
If you are a sort of innovative school principal and you have a habit to do new things, you understand that the ideas are a dozen a dime.
Its all about execution.
Ideas are not Innovation, execution is.
She moved from Delhi and joined a school in faizabad (ayodhya) and she found a gap on tech exposure in the city.
So she decided to host a tech fest not only for her school but for the students of other nearby schools too.
but this place was, sort of a hinterland, to find techies around and for a tech fest you need tech people in numbers.
Doing such a thing in Delhi would have been a cake walk, but here in Ayodhya would be a huge challenge.
But for many years, she had been investing in networking
and so she was able to invite Mr Vivekanand Prasad from IIT Patna (that too along with gadgets and devices).
She got a friend from Gurgaon, Mr. Kapil M who was an expert on Design Thinking.
And she also got an amazing resorce person Mr Vinay Chaddha, to give a workshop on App making and children were playing with LEDlights and motors and other electrical items using their apps that they made on MIT App Inventor.
and VOILA !!!
A dazzling event took place that the whole city appreciated.
