School Innovation and Growth Weekly | EdMonks | Jun 8 2023
I thought of transforming my newsletter into a new format.
Let’s call it
The Action Format
Now in this new format, this newsletter will share weekly tips [Ideas and Opportunities] and no gyan.
Gyan will be delivered only through our programs and through our growth modules.
Some reports will also be made and that will be accessible only to our paid subscribers.
However, we will always be open to sharing wisdom that is shared with us by innovative school leaders
Apart from that, here, in the free editions, I will share things like
Product Updates
Innovation Opportunities
Job Opportunities
Free Programs
Events Updates [Training Programs, conferences, etc by partner organisations]
Suggestions are welcome to improve this newsletter.
If you are a business or individual, who may want to provide some benefit to our subscribers aka the school leaders,
you are welcome to connect us through contact@edmonks.com
Opportunity 1
Host a Career Fair for Free
One of my friends runs a startup in the career guidance space. It is a fairly large entity funded by some really famous investors.
She is planning to organize a few career fairs in various schools in different cities in India.
The current focus is
Haryana, Punjab, HP, J&K
Delhi NCR
Rajasthan
Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand
Bihar and some parts of MP
But she is open in other places too, provided she gets at least 5-6 schools in nearby cities.
These will be absolutely FREE events for schools where some international and national universities (as per the school's choice) will be invited.
It will be a total 3-4 hour event where there will be counseling sessions by University representatives, talks by experts, and some other additional freebies and activities, etc.
So she asked me for some recommendations of nice schools,
Do let me know, If you would like to recommend some schools for the same. You may also nominate your own school and if they find it suitable, they can host it in your school too.
It can be a good publicity opportunity for any school as there will be a lot of PR support too.
Opportunity 2
EdMonks School Influence Interconnect
We are trying to host once again our roundtable, School Influence Interconnect.
Here we invite innovative school leaders to speak on a given topic. Only 10-12 very high calibre invited school leaders are allowed to participate in this event.
Everyone is given a time of 19 minutes to share an idea. The topics has to be strictly actionable and not vague abstractions or trends. There is no additional audience in SII. We will this time record it as a video talk and selected talks will be released on our YouTube channel.
The previous SII was done in August 2019 at India Hbitat center, Delhi.
We are planning to host it again in a new avatar.
For the same, the first thing we want to do is to screen and identify innovative school leaders, entrepreneurs, trainers, corporate employees, and any other school education enthusiast who can be differentiated from the generic herd.
The first step is to teach a 30-40 minute online video class to me on a one-to-one basis
The topics can be from the following broad categories
SOPs related to school operations like Making a Time Table, distributing work to teachers, fixing the annual calendar, POCSO issue management, ERP improvement, school affiliation, school byelaws, or any other such SOPs
School innovation like Making better rubric, implementing a culture of innovation, building a vibrant parenting community, sahodaya rules and regulations etc
Add on topics by non school leaders to explain their product lines that solves problems for schools or school leaders.
This will help us understand your depth of understanding in school operations and innovations.
We are soon planning to organize the next version of SII our round table in Delhi
Rush . . . . . and apply
While trainers, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts may write to me at contact@edmonks.com along with their profile
School Principals and owners may directly click here to pick a time
See you next week.
