4 Resources that school leaders must consume to create better schools
Share

There are four kinds of knowledge

  1. That you know about and can learn too

  2. That you know about but cannot learn (for example Quantum Computing, you know about it, but you know it would be difficult to learn it)

  3. Things that you do not know about, but can learn

  4. and Things that you do not know about and also cannot learn

It is clear that you cannot learn 2 & 4.

and you excel in your life when you excel at 1

but it is 3 that make you grow leaps and bounds in a very short time.

The question is how will you get to know about things that you do not know about

I thought to build a resource library for the school leaders that can help them explore 1 & 3 in a better and faster way.

and I propose it by consuming the right Books, Audio, Videos, and White Papers.

I would include only two kinds of resources

  1. That I have either created or have gone through myself

  2. I have got a very strong recommendation about

Would you share your suggestions with me to add here

This would be a dynamic list and will keep changing so keep sharing your suggestions and recommendations in the comments.

Books

The first type of resource I want you to explore is books. Here are a few books that I would very strongly recommend

The very first book that I want to recommend has been written by my friend Viplav Baxi.

WhatIfEdu: Twelve provocative questions that compel you to rethink our systems of education

I think this is a book that every school innovation enthusiast and school leader must read.

Another book was suggested by my friend Archana Gaba that I found amazing and am happy to include it in this list

The book is by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi

Totto-Chan: The Little Girl at the Window

It is a classic for any school leader to think beyond ordinary

I am now looking for more recommendations for resources that are good for school leaders

Audio Content and Courses

The audio content, podcast, etc, is very new to India but it is growing very rapidly.

Since I was not having any resources here, I created one for you.
